School Clubs

Kent Young Farmers have over 15 clubs around the kent area. These are a mixture school and open clubs. School clubs are for the younger members in our club, ages range from 13 - 16 years of age.

These clubs allow members to be at school and also have the opertunaty to learn and interact with animals and other farm related subjects which they may not do in other schools

Open Clubs

Kent Young Farmers also have open clubs, these clubs are for members aged between 16-25. Being a member of an open club allows members to be involved in a wide range of activitys, which include trips, talks, meetings and also being able once a year to go to the National AGM.

We would like to welcome onboard two new clubs that have recently formed and have started up new clubs, this is great news and proves that the word is spreading about Kent YFC.

NFYFC

NFYFC stands for National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs.
NFYFC is the governing body of Kent YFC, the events that take places and the guidelines for the club will run past them. Once a year the National AGM takes places where over 3000 Young Farmers meet up and get to know each other.


Kent Show!

The Kent Show is a key event for Kent Young Farmers, every summer the Detling Show ground is transformed, and we head up there to show our animals, with plenty of stalls and stands we aim to show visitors that Kent Young Farmers is a great way of meeting new people
