Rally Day
by Philippa Stedman-Collins and Catharine Sherwood

23rd April 2005

The RALLY DAY, which was good fun - the pictures speak for themselves! OPEN CLUB members proved as game for a laugh as the SCHOOL CLUB members! - the Course Builder (Haggis) for the Blind Sheepdog Trials was particularly "creative" this year! - and WATER features were included; the only option being to get wet! - luckily for the competitors, the weather was kind to them (even if YFC were not!)

(CAPTIONS TO THESE PICTURES ARE INVITED FOR NEXT MONTHS NEWSLETTER!?)

Rally day results:

An excellent day! Well done to everybody who came along and participated, both young and older! Some were also the wetter for it, either by accident or by design!! Mentioning no names of those who deliberately poured water over the unsuspecting blindfold candidates!!!

Very nice pictures of Stuart above - perhaps practising his approach if reborn as a ram or a boar in his next life!! Poor straw bale! Or lucky???? I put it down to the shepherd who could hardly stand up for laughing!!! No wonder Stuart was all over the place!!!
