Opening of Brockhill's lamb barn

Over 5000 visitors were welcomed to Brockhill's annual Lambing Day held on April 2nd. The newborn lambs commanded the largest crowds yet visitors had plenty of other attractions to see - demos of spinning and weaving, country crafts, plants, children's rides as well as Brockhill's other farm animals.

Over 700 people crowded around the main arena to watch a brilliant Birds of Prey demonstration by Eagle Heights.

The event in full swing!

A personal highlight was the offical opening of a new Lambing Barn by Deputy Head Charles Joseph, a replacement for one that was distroyed in an arson attack last year.

The queue... at 9:50am!!

Brockhill would like to thank Phillipa, Field Officer who spent hours on the entrance gate and Chris County Chair who both came and helpped out.
