North Downs new committee

At our September AGM, North Downs YFC elected the following to serve on committee for 2006/7:

President: Nia Atkinson
Treasurer: Clive Hall

Chairman: Carl Vincent
Vice-Chair: Rosie Brand
Secretary: Emma Lifford

Publicity & Fundraising: Carrieanne Turner
Events & Social: Stephen Paine
Sports & Comps: Sam Jenkins and Matt Hall
Kent Show Subcommittee Chair(s): Zoe Collier and Adam Gillem-Bussey

The introduction of the Sports and Competitions post, now jointly held by Sam Jenkins and Matt Hall, was made to help the club co-ordinating sporting activities with those ran by County YFC. Matt Hall said "Yeah, well, we wanna win some trophies, don't we?"

Carl Vincent, the new club chairman, said "It was sad to see Charlotte Kemp [last year's chairperson] leave the committee, but great to know that lots of fresh talent is getting involved with the running of the club for our second year."
