Kent County Show

Kent YFC exhibits annually at the Kent County Show. The clubs fill two huge marquees with cattle, sheep, pigs and small animals for the duration of the Show. Young Farmers compete for a large number of trophies and members as young as 10 years old can be seen showing cattle in the two dedicated YFC rings.

Sports and Comps

Each year the competitions programme includes a mix of traditional rural and agricultural activities, sport, art, life and vocational skills, as well as competitions that help develop the public speaking talents for which YFC members have become renowned.

Social

 

Kent YFC hosts a number of county wide socials over the year including the County Ball, Kent Show Bash, Farming Fayre and Junior party. 

 

With a calender of events throughout the year, we hope you'll be able to make the most of being a Kent Young Farmer!

 

 

Training Days

 

Kent YFC hosts 6 training days over the year. These include Dairy, Beef, Sheep, Pigs and Small pets training as well as a farm skills training day.

 

These training days offer members the opportunity to develop their skills wether it be handling the animals or equipment to extending their knowledge from some exceptional speakers.
